PUBLIC NOTICE - Water Main Works York Street

Council has recently been inundated with breaks along a 150m Potable Water Line along York Street, from Millchester Road onwards, which has resulted in water being turned off in those areas on a number of occasions whilst crews make repairs.

These breaks are not isolated to a single point of failure, and Council is working to install a more robust supply in the area which will be able to accommodate the current ground conditions.

Whilst this is occurring, to ensure the current water supply is maintained, two temporary lines are currently being installed and will remain active whilst the upgrade is implemented.

Council apologises for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their understanding whilst these issues are rectified.
