Colouring In Competition
Using the Colouring templates below, submit your best Christmas themed colouring ins under one of the three categories and secure your chance in the lucky draw prize.
Categories to enter:
Submissions open from 9am Friday, 10 November and close 9am Monday, 11 December 2023.
Winners will be announced via Council’s various media channels on Friday, 15 December. Prize collections can be made from Council’s Administration Centre between Friday, 15 December to midday Friday, 22 December 2023, if the prize is not redeemed within the timeframe provided, it will be forfeited.
All submitted colouring ins will be on display at the Excelsior Library from Friday, 15 December to Friday, 22 December 2023.
Entry is free, parental or guardian permission is required.
Christmas Lights Competition
Submit your Christmas Lights Display under one of the four categories below and have a chance at winning a prize. All submission addresses will be added to the Christmas Lights Trail map for the public to view.
Categories to enter:
- Best House
- Best Nativity
- Best Street
- Best Business premises/window display*
- Best Community & Not-for-profit display*
Submissions open from 9am Friday, 10 November and close 9am Monday, 11 December 2023.
Winners will be announced via Council’s various media channels on Friday, 15 December.
Free entry for participants.
*Best Business premises/window display and Best Community & Not-for-profit display proudly supported by Charters Towers Chamber of Commerce & Mines. All businesses on Gill & Mosman Streets (CBD) will be entered automatically.
All entries will be automatically entered into the Christmas Lights Trail map.
