Public Notice Controlled Burns at Mingela - RESCHEDULED to Tuesday 16 June 2020

Due to current weather conditions, Council has rescheduled its controlled burns to commence on Tuesday 16 June 2020. It was originally scheduled to commence on Monday 8 June.

The burns are to control excess vegetation on the vacant Mingela Reserve land located on Flinders Highway and Mingela Road, Mingela.

Residents are advised to avoid the area during burn off activity where possible. Residents who may have respiratory or health-related issues are advised to stay indoors and close windows to avoid any smoke nuisance/airborne irritants.

Council acknowledges the burns may cause inconvenience and appreciates the community’s cooperation.
