Public Notice - Flinders Highway Heavy Vehicle Bypass Reconstruction - Commencing Monday 11 May 2020

Council advises of upcoming roadworks along Victory Street, Enterprise Road and New Queen Road along the Oversize Heavy Vehicle Bypass commencing Monday, 11 May 2020 with work expected to be completed by the end of May 2020.

This work will be the second stage of the reconstruction and involve pavement strengthening, surface profiling and road resurfacing.

Traffic delays will occur and driveway access will be interrupted for periods during the works.

Council contractors will work directly with residents advising when works will be carried out to allow vehicles to be moved off the street.

Traffic control and signed detours will be in place, with some works to be undertaken at night to reduce impacts.

Council acknowledges the works may cause inconvenience and appreciates the community’s cooperation.
