Public Notice - Council Facilities to Re-open - Playgrounds, Library and Kennedy Regiment Memorial Pool

Following the easing of some COVID-19 restrictions by the State Government, Council will re-open the following facilities:

All playgrounds (excluding Ravenswood), skate park and outdoor gym will open from Saturday, 16 May 2020.

In addition, the below facilities will open from Monday 18 May 2020 on the following days and times:

  • Kennedy Regiment Memorial Pool – Mon-Fri 5:30am to 12noon, 2:00pm to 6:30pm
  • Visitor Information Centre – Mon - Fri 8:30am to 4pm
  • Library— Mon-Wed, Fri 10am to 5pm. Thu 9am to 5 pm

Social distancing restrictions, a maximum of 10 people at any one time and hygiene requirements will apply. Please follow staff directions where required.

Other Council facilities, including City Hall, Depots, World Theatre and all community facilities (Arthur Titley Centre, Gold and Beef Rooms, etc) will remain closed until further notice.

The Ravenswood playground will be closed until further notice due to ongoing works.
