Flying-Fox Dispersal Program

The flying-fox dispersal program will occur on Saturday, 2 August and Sunday, 3 August 2025.

Please keep noise-sensitive pets indoors or locked up between 6am – 8am.

This phase includes targeted dispersal and monitoring in Lissner and Centenary Parks to prevent flying-foxes from re-establishing in urban areas.

Council acknowledges the significant impact the dispersal has on residents and thanks each and every one of you for your patience and understanding.
