Flying-Fox Dispersal

The flying-fox dispersal program is continuing in the maintenance phase, until further notice.

The community is likely to experience disturbances between 6:00am–8:00am Monday - Friday, from Wednesday, 18 June2025.

Please ensure noise-sensitive pets are kept indoors during this time.

This phase includes targeted dispersal and monitoring in Lissner and Centenary Parks to prevent flying-foxes from re-establishing in urban areas.

Please report flying-foxes that are in unsuitable locations directly to Council on 4761 5300.

Council acknowledges the significant impact the dispersal has on residents and thanks each and every one of you for your patience and understanding.
