2025 Easter Closures

Charters Towers Regional Council would like to wish residents a very relaxing and happy Easter.

Council facilities will be closed as per below:

• Council's Administration Centre will be closed from 4:00pm Thursday, 17 April 2025 and will re-open 8:30am Tuesday, 22 April 2025.
• The Excelsior Library will be closed from 5:00pm Thursday, 17 April 2025 and will re-open 10:00am Tuesday, 22 April 2025.
• The Visitor Information Centre will be closed Good Friday (18 April 2025). Open 9:00am to 12:00pm Saturday (19 April 2025), Sunday (20 April 2025), Monday (21 April 2025).
• Kennedy Regiment Memorial Pool will be closed Good Friday (18 April 2025).
• The Dalrymple (H.M.Clarke) Saleyards will be closed Good Friday (18 April 2025) and will re-open Tuesday, 22 April 2025.
• Landfills:
  • Stubley Street Landfill will be closed on Good Friday (18 April 2025), open 8:00am - 12:00pm Saturday (19 April 2025), Sunday (20 April 2025), Monday (21 April 2025).
  • Greenvale Landfill will open Easter Saturday (19 April 2025) 8:00am to 12:00pm
  • Pentland Landfill will open Easter Saturday (19 April 2025) 8:00am to 12:00pm

Please note that Council's waste collection service will not be affected.
