Small Business Disaster Resilience Forum

The forum is designed to help local businesses get back to business sooner following a disaster or crisis. The 1-hour forum will run through key steps to prepare your business, how to recover and expert advice in applying for business recovery grants and insurance claims.

Designed for local small businesses and organisations that assist small businesses, the forum will include an overview of the Queensland Government’s Small business disaster hub website.

The forum will include speakers from:

Charters Towers Regional Council’s Disaster Management team.
QRIDA (Qld Rural and Industry Development Authority) – provides small business disaster recovery grants.
Insurance Council of Australia – overview of the insurance claims process
