10 Days in the Towers

The Ten Days in the Towers festival is a fantastic opportunity for locals and visitors alike to come together and celebrate the rich culture, proud history, and vibrant spirit that make our region so unique. From Friday, 24 April to Sunday, 3 May, Charters Towers will come alive with an exciting and diverse program of events, all brought together through the passion and dedication of local community groups, volunteers, and organisers.

This much-loved festival is a true reflection of the community, with months of hard work going into creating a lineup that offers something for everyone, arts and entertainment, heritage experiences, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to connect and celebrate.

A highlight of the program is the start of the three-day country music festival, kicking off on Friday, 1 May with a lively street parade through the heart of town. From there, the celebrations continue across the weekend, adding even more energy and atmosphere to an already vibrant festival.
