The installation of the roundabout will lessen the severity of an accident, due to vehicles travelling at significantly lower speeds (<25 kph).

Construction of the Roundabout is proposed to commence Monday 12 April, 2021, and is anticipated to take 16 weeks, until Friday 30 July, 2021, with detours in place during construction.

Council will install synthetic grass on the roundabout to improve the aesthetics of the new structure. This assists in reducing whole-of-life costs, and does not compromise the pavement due to water ingress.
