The total project cost is $673,000, which will be funded through a combination of Council's capital works program and Roads to Recovery (R2R) monies.

  • The installation of the roundabout will lessen the severity of an accident, due to vehicles travelling at significantly lower speeds (<25 kph).

  • Construction of the Roundabout is proposed to commence Monday 12 April, 2021, and is anticipated to take 16 weeks, until Friday 30 July, 2021, with detours in place during construction.

  • Council will install synthetic grass on the roundabout to improve the aesthetics of the new structure. This assists in reducing whole-of-life costs, and does not compromise the pavement due to water ingress.
