Temporary Employment RegisterCouncil is seeking applications from people who wish to be considered for short term positions within Council. Periodically short-term vacancies of up to six months arise within Council and suitably qualified people on our register will be referred for consideration. These vacancies normally occur in the areas of road maintenance or administration. Applications are valid for approximately three months or until the register is readvertised. Please note this is not a guarantee of employment. Offers of employment will occur as the need arises. It is Council policy that permanent positions are advertised in locally circulating newspapers and must be applied for separately.
