Public Notice - Kerbside Audit of wheelie and litter bins

APC Waste Consultants will be conducting a kerbside audit of wheelie and litter bins in the Charters Towers area from Tuesday 28 November to Thursday 30 November 2017.

The audit is funded by Department of Environment and Heritage Protection.

The audit is to obtain detailed data on beverage container waste disposal, prior to the introduction of the Queensland container deposit refund scheme. Photographs may be taken and some bins inspected to determine how full bins are for reporting purposes.

As a result, some collection times may be altered, however, collection days will remain the same. For more information or if you have any concerns please call Mic Langburne, Manager Environmental Services on 4761 5300.
