2017 Queensland State Elections

The following information has been provided by the Electoral Commission of Qld, in response to a request for advice regarding the 2017 State Government Elections:

 

“Voters can contact 1300 881 665 for information in relation to voting or they can also go online at www.ecq.qld.gov.au.

Applications are now being taken for Postal Votes.  Voters can apply online for a postal vote at www.ecq.qld.gov.au or ring 1300 881 665.

First close of roll is 5pm today 3 November 2017.  Second close of role is 6pm on 24 November 2017.  Voters can update their enrolment details on the Australian Electoral Commission website at  www.aec.gov.au or on forms available from the Post Office.

Further advice will be provide when the Pre-Poll Booths and Polling Booths locations have been finalised.  

Pre-Poll voting will be for the period 9am Monday 13 November 2017 to 6:00pm Friday 24 November 2017.”
